This is THE worst thing about having one of your best friends in the grade above you.

*WARNING! super long sappy description ahead!*

This guy has been one of the closest friends I have ever had, and he knows things about me that not even my other very closest friends know. I honestly love this dude with all of my heart (in a completely platonic way). Being an only child I have never know what it is like to have a brother, but he is probably THE closest thing I have had or probably ever will have.

I know he looks kind of uncaring in this picture, but that is just kind of how he is. He is just a very “meh” kind of person. If you look up curmudgeon in the dictionary you would probably find his picture. But for all the times I think “Uh, why I am friends with him again?” there are just as many that he has proved to be one of the best people I know. He has given me the most thought filled gifts ever, a beautiful sketch book, and a phone case because “Seriously, you drop your phone all the time, I’m worried.” You know, just little things like that.

He just graduated this year and is heading off to college in the fall, 1,327.8 miles away (yes, I have the exact number, that’s not weird…). I don’t know how I am going to get by without him. He is just such an amazing friend, and I can’t bear to think of having to go back to school without him there. :’(

Edit: Thanks you guys for all the kinds words of encouragement, you guys are really great! I'm really okay though, in case anybody was worried. That is why I also tried to make this a bit of a comedy piece. Not sure I could have done that if I was still super torn up about it! :3
