Damn, this one took some while to do I'll tell ya. But I guess it was worth it.
This was a gift I started a while ago for Mah darling. She wanted me to do her character Hanako as a forest spirit-thingy. It sounded hard at that time... and I'll tell ya it WAS! It took a damn long time to even decide on all the elemnts taht came into the picture. There are a lot of small little things there. The things she requested were, ladybugs, the tree, mushrooms, flower petal swirly-thingy and the real raccon on the highest branch. I added some more stuff i there as well.
Now about the damn background... It took me some time to think about what i'd do... And in the end I decided on this late-sunset coloration. I've never done anything like this, so I am satisfied in that sense... But I would have preferred the colours to blend a bit better. (I just didn't figure ot how).
Oh well, I really hope she likes it. ^__^

Back to commenting, it has been quite some time I guess :D
This pic is, in my oppinion, quite something different than the other ones I commented this far. First of because it's a new character and it somehow has another look. But I don't like short conclusions, so first off, full review, as a new thing, I'll strat from the bottom this time :D
The whole piece of land shown in the pic looks very nice, the green grass along with the edge on the left side. The grass looks very nice as the dark lines give the impression of the grass moving in the wind. I don't know if that was intended or not, but anyway I think it looks very nice. Those mushrooms and flowers, especially the big ones near the tree trunk already give the pic a very "natural beauty" look and a nice combination of different colors.
The tree also looks very nice. The different shades of colors make it look very nice and interesting. While the mushrooms "just" add more of the natural look to the pic, the raccoon and the owl additionally look kinda cute. The carved hearth with the letters is also a very nice thing to do and I think it will give the pic even more of a personal, memorable value.
Now about the background and the other little additions. I just love the background, the sky, those shades going from bright to dark (or vice versa from the top) look wonderful. While the brighter colors on the bottom fit very well to the colors of the grass and flowers and mushrooms, the dark part on the top puts the whole picture into a chilling, cold but yet romantic night. The wind, flowers, ladybugs and all these small additions are fitting wonderful and make the impression of nature even stronger while also showing you really put much detailed efford into it.
Now, finally, to your girl's character. I will not comment so much about her here, as I can go into much better details on the other pics you drew of her, but still she also deserves a little comment here.
The fur color fits really well into this picture and in general I think her character fits good into the "nature" theme of the drawing. Her markings also look very nice and I like those light clothes. I think the clothes color looks quite different in all the brown around it, her fur and the tree, and can be quite an eye catch, well, it would have been one, if I woulndn't have fallen for the wonderful overall theme and look of the pic at all. This is no negative rating, though, like I said, I like the clothes' look.
Now, I won't go further into how she looks as I'll do in the other two pics, so don't be afraid that she's not getting enough attention :D
I hope your girl likes this pic the same way I do, no, I hope she even loves it much more as this is, in my oppinion, a wonderful gift and everything just turned out very good, I think.
People should pay much more attention to nature and the wonderful nightsky these days, maybe this pic will be a small lead back to nature, at least a little bit :D
Wonderful pic here, I'm happy you're sharing it with us. Greetings from my side, we'll read again in the next comments,
