well I grew up with Sonic... my grandpa had (and still has) the SEGA Mega Drive with the Sonic games and always played it when I was there and one day gave me the controller to play it, too xD
But the real fandom came later when Sonic Underground came on TV again in the time where I was all "Checking the internet for pictures FTW >w<" and so I came to a Sonic X preview. So all in all.. Sonic Underground brought me to the fandom that started with Sonic X. XD And so then I invented my first characters~

never really saw much of underground...
i started loving sonic when i saw the SATAM sonic just called Sonic The Hedgehog which made me sad when they stopped the series... >< then i got into the game when Sonic 2 came out =3 still love that game i found out about the monthly comics later and i LOVE them ^____^ ive made a few chars nothing for myself just yeat tho ^^ i like Sonic X a little >> but i dont like Amy or the Chris thing very much but theres always chars yah dont like i suppose.

It's just always been the problem that here in germany you don't have much Sonic stuff. I never got to see the SatAM series (I don't know if they ever came on TV here.. maybe) and unless you got a comic store that agrees to importing comics from America (which is rare) you're pretty much unable to get the Archie Comics, which is rather sad. -.-
