Insects are underrated.
Despite their well know relative strength, I don't see enought of them running around wielding enormous hammers...
Insects were actually my very first fascination. I used to stare at them for hours as a kid. Fascinating things... So many wonderful designs. Pure beauty.
I bet my fursona would be a dung-beetle.
I spend too much time on these pictures. The project is robbing me of my time. Need to learn to work faster and upload sloppier pictures.

yeah! there aren't enough insects drawn in general. i also really liked insects and in my home country and i'd try and collect them, so instead of having my parents squish them i'd try and trap them but the big grasshoppers and cockroaches would always mysteriously vanish... either that or they'd die and long lines of ants came and took them apart

Why on earth did you stop? I still do that. Insects are the second-best life forms on earth, right after viruses. If I could poke viruses to get them to bite my finger, too, life would be perfect, if rather short.
I think it goes without saying that this is a very good drawing.
