I sorta had an idea awhile back in which put some of my characters in an alternate reality... Nero arriving later on through some vortex like in sliders and getting caught between two sides.

My dragons would be armored like Malkin in this pic and be the aliens, while the other side would be these fellows here ---> http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8774489/

Basically it would be a world in which mankind had gone extinct and various wildlife had taken on the humanoid form of man. And of course with Nero being dragonkin, causes a distress beacon on a crashed craft to go off and draws in the alien dragons. Used Malkin because his scars make him look as if he's gone through a few battles.
