o.O Holy cow this is old. I remember showing it to a friend in english class that had been reading my poetry since grade school and him refusing to finish reading because it was too 'dark'. Please don't be cruel - I was 14! It's posted exactly as it was written then because I've been threatened with losing my curls if I change it. *pouts*

I never saw this one as dark either. Truly, the ones I consider really dark will never be posted here such as Broken Prayer. Those will stay very much tucked away in a safe and unviewed place. I like this poem rather alot, especially for having written it nearly ten years ago. It just has -amateur- stamped on it. *chuckles.*
I agree with 
haelkentrellek. This is not dark. It is full of soul and romance. Granted, it comes from a deep part of your soul, but depth does not always infer darkness. It moves me.
