Meet the great dane Danali. I had a blast drawing her and she has gone through a few differnt looks this one being the best. I would like to improve upon her yet as she is not as bulky with muscle as she should be. This was drawn with Graphite then printed off onto cardstock so I could color her with simplistic Cryola pencils. Yes I'm cheap but they do the job. Next I reuploaded it to the pc and digitally enhanced teh background with some scroll work boarder. Still more work went into the traditional means thus the catagory choice.

I want to capture the pinup form a bit more hips and bust area but I missed the esseance of Danali and that is key to her character. She really enjoys working out and building muscles but she also likes being a female. So its a really difficult thing to achive without making her look like a body builder so much that she loses her curves if you know what I mean?
Yeah...I've decided not to even go near that area I'm so afraid I'll draw something...unearthly. So I can say you've done an awesome job with both femininity and brawn. =D Maybe in Danali's next picture it could be a medium shot from the waist up or something.
Then you can see both her eyes and hair and the tightness and smoothness of her neck muscles...?
I dunno....I'll guess I'll just have to wait...

dang I have gimp but its got some issues that Ultimate paint outmatches. I really hate it cause I have to open both programs and swap images back and forth to get the bits I love out of each. *chuckles* I wish someone would make a customizable program that would allow you to pic and choose your favored tools.
Funny you mention that...
