Sweet Dreams is a sweet young mare. She works at a nursery to care for baby ponies where her skill comes in very handy. She is capable of seeing a pony's desires, their wants and needs. And she also has a knack for lullabies. Very handy when dealing with baby ponies! Her cutie mark is three quilt patches overlaid by a shining star. She's one of Equestria's rare pegacorns, possessing both a horn (with magic powers) and wings, which means she would be able to go flying with Star anytime.

And no.. I don't suspect they're going to be playing pool much longer either ^.^

Yeah its basically the same. Unicorn with wings. Which in the actual MLP cannon is fairly rare. I was very pleased with how this came out. I'm not very good at backgrounds, but I wante dto try to make it complete. This wasn't my original idea, but it sure is the one that came out on paper. I love it and I'm glad you like it too!

And yes, family is very important to Sweet Dreams. She totally wants a little herd of her own XD

Nah, it's a good picture, have no doubt about this. ;) Okay, background isn't perfect but the proportions, shading, shades and colors are pretty good. ^^
And I love the way you drew ShootingStar's wing ! Not totally open, it's really cool ! Good effects on the glowing horn too ! ^^

He he, that's something important to keep in mind about the character ! I'll note it somewhere ! :D

The wing is one of the things that took me a while, because I didn't want it tucked or stretched. I wanted something that would come across as natural for his position so i looked up lots of bird references until I found one of an eagle poised for take off. It was perfect and was just what I wanted! I've never done glowy stuff before so it was an experiment in technique and something of a learning process for me. I try to stretch and make each new picture I do continue my forward progess as an artist. I think, one of the tiny details that really just gets me every time I look at it, because for me it was such a hug leap forward in theory and technique is the little swirly on the pool table. The use of only light and shade to create the effect came out very nice!
