The night was colder then usuall. The voices of the wood died out. Something wasn't right.
"Nighttear" began to sing and Slifer jumped up, drawing his blade and webbing a defence spell.
The towns-people told him, that this wood had a monster inside.
That was the reason he camped here and didn't sleep in the inn.
Then it came ... a beast, created with black magic and hate. A Chimera!
They looked into the eyes of the other, reading in it, waiting for a sight of movment.

In the town, the guards shivered after they heared the monster roar.
The monster take his next victim they thought.

At the next day, a heavy wounded warrior reached the townsgate.
Bitmarks and deep cuts all over his body. His armor was full of blood.
They asked him if the monster was dead. A roar from the woods was the answer of this question.
It took Slifer a few weeks to recover from the fight and a few more to find other MonsterHunters to
start again the hunt at this beast. The Chimera won the first round. But there will be another soon.
