I didn't mean to make it sound like I was going to listen to it as, say, you watch a movie in the theater. This sometimes has rather interesting effects if you leave it on in the background. Quite observable effects, really!
As for the digital tearing, Paulstretch does a fairly competent job at stretching audio without making it sound unbearable. Ah well...

I've noticed. It's a lot easier to concentrate with drones playing in the background. It's pretty much the only way I can write.
I sort of like the tearing though. :<
The paulstretch seemed too airy, so I had two tracks with different time resolutions and added a torn version along with it. It makes it a lot more interesting.
