Blue Alto Ocarina

This is an alto ocarina in C (A4-F6)It is made of ceramic clay and painted with co-polymer varnish as its finish along with various paints underneath.

I consider this the first of the really "good" finished ocarinas Ive made. The surface is highly iridescent and has a really good glassy depth to it that I still like quite a bit. I finished this one in December and its been with me almost constantly in by backpack or whatever bag im carrying each day since and the surface has held up fairly well, it did get a few scratches from the abuse though.
