This picture is pretty awesome, some of my best friends are folks from the net who I've only ever seen a handful of times in my life. We try our best to get together for cons and the time I do spend with them are usually the better days of my lives.

I have a really, really good friend who lives in another country. We've known each other for about 7 years now or so but we've never met in person.
We've been trying to somehow meet up in the summer at one or the other's place, but we just couldn't...

I'm not sure how I'm feeling right now; it's a mix of smiling in both an understanding and goofy manner, and wanting to cry. Hate to sound stereotypical, but this reminds me of me and my cluster of friends (only one of which I've gotten to see offline, cause that's where we met). 10 years...? Wow, I hope we can all be like that, me an' my crew! I wish you many more years, to you both.

Just adding to the list of everyone else who relates, but yeah, I have some friends like this. People who have ment so much and been so far. Its hard to explain to people who don't have 'net friends how you can be so close to people you have never met "in person". They don't understand how little that matters when you find a true friend. I hope you two get to meet up, but even if you don't, here's hoping for many more great years for both of you.
