So, here we have a little story to go along with this pic, albeit a little bit late. Now I wish I'd come up with it yesterday. Anyway! No use crying over spilled milk bottles.
*cuddles my kitten bro* I know life sucks sometimes, but there is always someone who cares for you. :3
So, anyway, this is a little gift for my buddy Milo, who's been having a rough time and could really use the downtime. And apparently Jay's magical powers to regress people into babies is slowly becoming canon. Interesting. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this little story.
Mage Noir and Kiama's Curse coming up in a few days, hopefully.

That part where Milo mentions it hurting that the roleplay isn't real is something to which I partially relate. I endeavor not to waste emotion pining for the impossible, but occasionally I have very wrong feelings when I read immersing literature or appreciate especially solid art. Instead of just loving what I'm seeing, I get a hollow feeling behind my sternum and dry in the mouth. It's a petty, irrational feeling something like jealousy of the talent and a little like coveting the fantasy world. It passes and get what I'm supposed to from the work, but every now and again it will happen.
Very touching lead-in, but I wonder if this isn't the type of character who'd learn to appreciate being an adult after being a baby again for a little while.

Nothing too unusual about that first part. Desire for what we don't have but still want is a base human emotion, so we can understand it in others. I mean, for example…

I know almost nothing about this character, yet I still feel sympathy for her plight and what she wants.
Hmmm, interesting question. The character of Milo… perhaps, yes. Or at the very least, learn how to find more simple joys and pleasures in life that make adult life more bearable. The real Milo… well, "It just hurts that it isn’t real" is pretty much an exact quote that's been said before.

Everyone envies another guy's lawn or comforts, but I'm still skeptical that anybody would truly want that were it possible.
One of my favorite AR stories that I read two or three years ago had a man deciding at the end that he enjoyed his vacation, but there was nothing equivalent to being an adult and having control over one's destiny and life as well as the full rights and privileges vested by nature and society. It didn't involve abusing or humiliating the protagonist, either, he just simply began to decide that working an imperfect job and dealing with criticism was a fine tradeoff for eating what he pleased, choosing his nightly routine, and leaving the home at his leisure.
I don't mean to belittle the often ignored and disrespected challenges that young adults have facing the world, but I also feel that the alternative is often ignored in infantilist stuff unless it involves virtual BDSM.
