Poor Bobby. I fell for his pain. The pain of the insult, the pain of his embarrassment at his bad reaction, and the pain of the loss of a good friend. But Bobby did try to tell Dipper how much this hurt, and Dipper just kept pushing, and finally Bobby resorted to pushing. Both should apologize, but maybe Dipper should apologize first. Dipper seems to have had the bigger part in pushing the incident to the breaking point.
But on the other hand. Love does require sacrifice. Perhaps Bobby should apologize first as a sacrifice to mend the friendship. But then again, this might just train Dipper to do it again when he is frustrated. Life is so hard sometimes. Maybe the two of them can work out a mutual sacrifice that falls in the middle ground. I hope the friendship is important enough to them both to work out something, something fair to both of them.
