Gonna leave for some time back to my native town so I decided to redraw it's coat of arms in my way... That's a lizard (symbol of the Urals) on a nuclear reactor the original can be found here http://multiring.ru/course/living_a.....0586/78365.jpg
I was born in a small secret town called Ozersk (pronounced as Ozyorsk)... It's located deep inside Ural mountains hidden from peoples eyes by forests, lakes and barbed wire. Some things this town is famous for:
1 - founded by comrade Stalin and produced the first atomic bomb for the USSR and still produces stuff like that for Russia;
2 - one of the first places where secret weaponry was tested such as AK-47;
3 - in 1957 had the first radioactive disaster in the USSR much before Chernobyl, the information about the disaster was hidden, there are still signs around town that show current level of radiation;
4 - In 1960 shot down an american U-2 piloted by Francis Gary Powers that was later captured by soviets and then sent back to the USA;
5 - famous for different UFO encounters, town borders with Kyshtym the place where an old lady kept a small alien that she called Alyoshenka that died and was stollen;
6 - during soviet times was considered as a place of well developed socialism never had no lack of goods, didn't starve during the 90s.
Anyway I tried to paint for the first time... don't quite like it but posting it anyway...

About area 51? Well i know about that as much as everybody knows xD
Ozersk also has underground labs as well as underground metro so when the first Resident Evil was released people started to laugh we should wait for a zombie apocalypse from underground... there were gossips about chemical experiments underground but gossips are gossips...

Why do alien related things always get stolen!? I heard in a story called "Light Years" (or something like that) that a man was making contact with aliens, and was supposedly meeting with them on a regular basis (in between regular interviews with reporters and scientists).
Apparently this farmer, with no higher education to speak of, was being asked all these questions and giving back answers that no farmer would be able to answer. For further proof of his contacts (while he could snap photos of the ship itself, I can't remember what the explanation was for not being able to take pictures inside the ship) he brought back a sample of gold from the aliens, which was what they constructed there ships instruments out of, but the scientists only had it for a day before it mysteriously vanished from there research lab.
While they only had it for a day, they have it documented that it was the purest sample of gold they had ever seen (too pure to have come from the ground, and more than a simple farmer could produce).
Still, thanks for sparking some old memories, as well as sharing a little more about yourself. Hope the trip goes smoothly
