Just strap a bomb to your chest and that xenomorph WILL go down.

I hate to tell you, old bean, but them there rockety type guns have a set safe distance after firing to prevent the old 'hoist on your own petard' sort of thing. I believe it is normally 30 feet after the primary motor activates or so...Poor alien is just gona get a rocket sandwich...
Then the primary motor will activate, forcing it down the alien throat where it WILL arm and give the poor blighter some rather unpleasant indigestion.
Plenty of time for Chip to run for some cover, methinks. Yes.

That alien will take it and keep moving. He'll most definitely be on top of the little munk at that point.
