Hmm... I too have a Bamboo, but I have the Pen. So you got the driver off the website and everything? I'm not sure what could be wrong. Have you looked at the little "Bamboo Preferences" thing? Maybe you have it accidentally in a mouse setting.
Or you could maybe have an older version of SAI, and it possibly needs updating.
