another goat I met at a fair this one is a Nubian weather. he was a bit shy and would tend to stay on the back side of his pen when there was too many people in the barn for him. he was also afraid of my hat at first so I took it off and let him nibble on it so he could see it was just a hat. when he did come over he loved some scratches behind his big ears and on the neck.

i want
1 calico colored Pigmy doe (inside pet goat)
1 Nubian doe (for Dairy products)
1 Boer doe (for breeding and meat production)
1 Boer buck (for breeding)
that will be my small goat heard
my boyfriend wants 2 highland cow hefers (as pets)
and we both want to have
each 1 horse
one day
i also what silky chickend (for eggs and meat)
i want to hunt aswell
so that would be the farm i hope for one day

They are a joy to have around that is for sure! I have mostly registered ones, and a pair of unregistered. I'm working on getting a new barn up and then I will be adding more to my herd. I have a few blue eyed doelings lined up for when the time comes. I'm also patiently waiting on adding some polled goats as well!

Thankfully I was blessed and I come from a farming family, so we have some land lol. My first experience with birthing kids was scary, but rewarding at the same time! Kids are just the best, I have a bottle buckling and I wouldn't trade him for the world. He likes to go for rides in our pickup even lol
that's awesome its like the life I always wanted. when I was kid we had a house that I could have had goats at but we were not really a farming family and now the house is gone so I need to find some land of my own to make a farm on. that's funny you have a little buck who likes to ride in the truck I hope that someday I will have one like that. what happened with your first kidding experience?
