Last one!
My DVD's of the Godzilla movies...... All 28 of them!
You have NO idea how much of a mission it was to get even HALF of these in region 4. Especially since 6 of them were never even released on DVD in the R4 format :D
Almost every foreign tv show or movie or animation are published within Australia by MadMen Entertainment, included the Godzilla movies. Remember that.
See those boxsets? Their the most common releases you get get. Firstly, these supposed 'collections' are all missing movies from their respective eras. The Heisei era boxset is missing Godzilla 1984, and Godzilla VS Biollante, and the Showa classics boxsets are missing Godzilla Raids Again, Ghidorah The Three Headed monster, and Godzilla VS King Kong. Also those ones on the top are from the Millennium era, every movie was released here..... except Tokyo SOS. Almost made it MadMen. To be far, recent MadMen released the Millennium era boxset that includes the missing movie. And after emailing them they explained that the licence rights for the other 5 movies wasn't available when they were signed to produce the DVD.
Speaking of boxsets, that red one at the bottom, it's a fucking miracle I got it. When I was looking for the DVD's I quickly learned that Showa era Vol 1 was so rare that no store in the ENTIRE country had any in stock. I was even told that it was so rare that if I did find one it'd cost a small fortune. So I got in touch with MadMen and asked them about it. And they agreed to put it back into production :D
That was easily the most surreal moment in my life (aside from putting on my Proton Pack for the first time), getting a major DVD production company to bring one of their lines back into production because I asked. True story.
Annnd, that concludes my collection. I'd still like to buy several more figures, like a Burning Godzilla, classic Mechagodzilla, and maybe an old school Gigan. As well as those S.H.Monsterarts I want to get. Anyway, thanks for looking :3
