Whoo! This is looking spiffy so far, I really can't wait to see your gorgeous colouring work on it. ^^ As for it being a badge as opposed to an icon... Well, I don't visit cons (uhm, not so far anyway) but it might be nice to have a conbadge just for the sake of it. XP Besides, I could easily resize it into an all-purpose icon if need be! So you can make it as a badge if you like.

I don't want you put you out in doing lots of extra work if you don't want to though, so, uhm, whatever's easiest. ^^;
