I really liked the shading on the dude, truly awesome, thats one thing i can't learn yet, shading :\

thank you, and it's actually really easy. i used a layer over the colors with yellow (light) and purple (shadow) and played with the opacity and fill levels. that or a layer using same idea (layer and playing with opacity and fill amounts) with black for the shadow instead... yea it might be a little cheap all in all, but it works pretty well. ( i actually got the yellow/purple combo idea from  touchmybadger but dunno if she still has the tutorial still in her gallery, can't hurt to take a look)

This is just awesome, The coloring is amazingly cool .I think you did the perfect colors for this one. You should keep up this style more, it flatters your artowrk
