Hi everybody! Welcome to the first picture-sode of “Two Fat Bronys Review”! With your hosts
bear1 and
SakenSkunk Tonight, we’re gonna review a DLC for the beloved “Walking Dead” game by Telltale Games, “The Walking Dead: 400 Days”! Now, this DLC is significantly shorter than the full Season, I finished it in about an hour and 20 minutes, but it’s still chock full of our usual Walking Dead storytelling that hits you right in the Feels.
Onto the story, the crux of 400 Days is that it follows 5 characters, Vince, Wyatt, Russel, Bonnie and Shel, in little 15-to-20 minute snapshots of their lives through various days of the zombie apocalypse, rounding out at the titular 400th day. While it does suck that we don’t get to see more of Clementine and Co. The player does get to see a few cameos and things the group has done or gone through. Despite that, 400 Days is chock full of very compelling characters and tons of spontaneous “OH DAMN!” moments that the series is known for.
Despite its short length, I would say that it serves as a very good bridge from the ending of Season 1 to the eventual start of Season 2, whatever craziness that may entail. It’s quite cheap, about $5, and if you need a good Walking Dead kick while you wait for Season 2, then this will do wonders. I highly recommend it, and thanks for reading Two Fat Bronys Review!
