Ok so I play 40k, I love it, I read about it I play it but alot of the locals play fantasy. So I putz around looking at army and I decided on wood elfs...problem is I hate elfs..(ironically I dont like dwarfs either :p ) so I build a list that is mostly tree kin, except for the 19 glade guard, hero and spell singer. The solution: an entire army based around Asian lore. Sooo all of the threes will be cherry blossoms and all of the elfs will be done into foxes, the spell singer will be re-sculpted into the white 9 tailed kitsune . This is the demo model for one of the 19 glade guard.
So far learning to sculpt with the modeling puddy "green stuff" is a challenge but Im getting better at it. My hope is by the time Im done with the guard and the hero I can do a good job on the spell singer.
