This was another one of my experiments in bead sculpture. I was specifically trying to put a star into the chest, based on the pentacle bead pattern I devised.
The pendant is beads and copper wire, primarily 3mm and 6mm bugle beads.

Not sure, working with beads came from needing something to combine with the wire I work with. That is what led to working with beads this size, they work well with the wire and the scale of my work. I suppose the best way to explain creative process is that one idea leads to another and that leads to another. For example, the beaded bird idea came from a comment about the belt on http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7875394/ that a friend made. This one, in particular, came from trying to see if I could work a star into the chest. The size of the wings and the particulars of them were to fit with the size of the chest piece.
