God, the colors you used for this are gorgeous. It almost feels like a photograph.
Great composition, too. The positioning of everything really conveys a good feeling of distance, mirroring the gap between life and death nicely.
You may say you struggle with faces, but that expression has a lot of nice subtleties to it.

Thank you kindly for making this as well as to
yakeowolf for the gift. :) This will be part of Lennon's "story", and I'll be posting this one as well in on my FA. But it's going to be a while, as this one is a bit far into his biography. Thank you again for this I truly love how it came out. :)

Thanks, dude! It's kinda sad but it's only NOW that I'm starting realize you can use various hues to convey form/ tone in rendering. If that makes any sense! I missed out on learning A LOT of the basics of color, light, value, all that good stuff so I'm sorta trying to teach it to myself. But thanks for checking it out.
Yeah, I get that. You want to use color to convey form, as opposed to just using lines to do so. Neat! The tree is real cool since you used a lot of desaturated colors in the trunk, which helps the actual colors you used in the trunk to stand out. That's always a favorite thing of mine about colors (or the lack thereof haha). And you're welcome, Colt.
Ahh yeah defiantly has that sad touch to it but it is an emotional piece along with everything that it has going like the composition overall, I feel as that for this one you really captured your spacing perfectly and that is summed up well by the fact of the scenario that is occuring with the bridge between "life" and "Death" and as uaual your colors are amazingly solid but this one really stands out because you were able to use just the right amount so that it all blends nicely such as the perfect amount of gray and dark under the tree and that branching off onto the green of the grass mixed with the sky and the moon/stars. It all falls into place nicely and your fatial textures are always so amazing and detailed that they never dissipoint.
So all in all very impressive dude :3
