Do you do master copies by any chance? If so, who is(are) your master(s).

What exactly do you mean?

A master copy is when you take the work of an artist who's mastered anatomy (in my case, I use Gottfried Bammes) and redraw their work. By redrawing their work, you teach yourself how muscles interact with each other in different poses, how light reflects off of the body, and many other things that those artists have mastered when drawing figures. It's really helpful for people like myself who don't have the time to go out to a figure drawing class.

I guess it's safe to assume that you have not done mastercopies and have probably learned through figure drawing.

I very, very much love his design here with the full mane and the fur tufts on his hands and feet. I felt you captured a really nice “over the shoulder” look in this piece and with the smoking pipe and glasses he just looks really, really good (kinda like an extra spice or ingredient to make the recipe a little better). Just overall awesome here.

Your anatomy is pretty super. I can easily see that you get your practice in. I like that it looks real, looks correct, but doesn't look like the paragon human person. He's got a little bit of pudge, a flat butt, but by gosh, humans (or horse demons) have imperfections!!!

And I agree with Kkitty. You just need to practice MOOOAAARRRRRR! Hell, we can be human drawing buddies. X3 Poke each other to get to work.

your human faces aren't bad, a couple minor things off but overall I thought that was going with the whole idea of a horse demon trying to look human y'know? Anyway, great picture, I love the feeling of weight in it and the way it seemed to just sort of give a presence to the image.. he's there and he knows it lol
