This sketch is by the amazing 
hbruton and features two of my characters from Metamor Keep (http://metamorkeep.com) in a scene from the story I am currently working on. The character on the left is my main character currently in his granite form. The second character is his eldest son. This scene takes place sixteen years in the future from the current timeline.
Heather has been such a dear over the years and I am always pleased to commission her for another sketch in my book. She has never disappointed and this year is no exception. Thank you, Heather!

Basically it's about a Sicilian king who wrongfully suspects that his queen is having an affair with the King of Bohemia. She and her son die from the shock and their baby daughter is smuggled out of the country to Bohemia...
16 years later the girl is being raised by peasants but falls in love with the Prince. They end up back in Sicily where the King has been grieving and praying for forgiveness. A statue of the Queen has just been completed and it magically comes to life from the King's repentance.
