I can imagine the show that snake girl must've made if she looked like a
darkaldebaran replicant

i find thats pretty much what you have to do in basic OC ^.^ its just less complicated to start in the distance and work forward
thank you n.n i always worry my color will look washed out because it seems im the only person still painting on a CRT but LED doesnt have adequate color depth - maybe OLED will be better at some point and maybe i will be able to afford it ^.^'

"You will be required to do wrong no matter where you go, Mr. Deckard. It is the basic condition of life, to be required to violate your own identity. At some time, every creature which lives must do so. It is the ultimate shadow, the defeat of creation; this is the curse at work, the curse that feeds on all life."
"Who said that, Rachel? Your memory or your heart, spoken freely?"
The Replicant with no incept date looked over her shoulder, to the empty perch where the hunting raptor had once been, would soon be another from Requisitions; modern industrial massproduction in the name of Schrodinger and weaponized macroeugenics. "The owl said that. I remember that very clearly."

Have no idea who 'Larry' is or what it might be, but thank you for your kindness in response and your compliment on my wee bit of fleshy-robotic narrative, good Darkbean! <3 I believe you're +Following me on Cohost so you might grok the basics of what's happened to me recently, starting with a rather serious but not (as yet) life-threatening injury that has temporarily disabled the use of my left hand and lower arm.
I summoned the courage to ask Garudina (I know I'm following her here on FA but I can't summon the strength to put in the proper formatting syntax for her icon and account link; I'm sorry) after reading your story posted on Cohost recently, including her anthracite-coal-titaness cat OC and if she'd be comfortable with allowing me by-her-leave to draw Garudina as a gift to her and to me to see if I can manage the feat, and to my wonderful surprise she was wholly enthusiastic about it.
I explained to her I wouldn't be able to use my tablet and stylus until my wrapped traction splint comes off and I can use my left hand normally again with standard range of motion, and she was that much more enthusiastic, plainly supportive and encouraging and sustained her position that she was looking forward to the surprise to come in a little while.
Your story and reading it helped me work up that courage, Aldebaran, and perhaps I'll foster a new creative friendship with someone I admire because of that. It's the small kindnesses that harrow the worst Sheols within, and even that I'm stuck inside one now I have no intimation of its sustained permanence.
I owe you one, Dark Mum Aldebaran, and I mean it, and won't forget it.
