After having worked under Yue Xia Lao for over 5000 years, Qiang has become resentful. Never having known a love as true as that which she has been helping others find she has simply decided to quit playing matchmaker.

Instead of always helping others (as she does still want others to have happiness), she takes it upon herself to see if said mortals deserve true love. She has taken to testing them, changing herself into a human and making herself the object of their desire. If they resist, she leaves their thread be. If, however, they fall to her alluring charm... she breaks it, leaving them forever without true love.
