Character I made on a whim. His name is Masaki (meaning "flourishing tree").

He is a nocturnal nature/forest spirit who lives in a mossy dark cave during the day and at midnight emerges from his home to help nurture the forest he resides in. His eyes are always closed, he is about 9 ft tall which may make him look intimidating but he really is just a big fuzzy sweetheart.

The sketch to the right is a concept for a staff/lantern that he carries so that it may help him see in the dark while he is using his magic to help the forest grow.

I apologize for the nature of the image, it was taken via instagram on my cellphone.

There will be more art and a reference of him to come after I move! :3
