
In reference to my Journal post about how impressed I was with the Olympus pocket camera; here's a better example why. The detail on this is amazing. I'd be very happy with this shot on my 60D point in fact. Granted, it was taken in A+ perfect lighting that allowed for the lowest ISO the camera has at a fast shutter speed. More remarkable is that he stayed still when my hand was about a foot and a half away to get this shot. This has been cropped down from the original image too.

Yup, looks pretty good. Background's a touch noisy, but that's easily fixable if you're shooting in RAW. I think dragonfly photos are a real pain to do well because of the shape of the animal. Feels like you have a choice between cutting off part of the animal's body or abandoning the rule of thirds altogether. That said, you composed this really well. You're much better at dragonfly photos than I am. ;)
