How did the prankster get the contents of the tub cold enough for long enough for the jello to congeal?

perhaps by turning the temperature way down on the central air.. with a thick coat, the cold temperature wouldn't bother the chakat..

of course, I dont know for certain, as the concept was commissioned, and it might be explained in the story it illustrates.

If you put sufficient jelly crystals into the water, it will set at normal room temperature. It just works quicker at cool temperatures.

Ugh... the memories...

In elementary school, my teacher caught me eating jello with my fingers, so she sentenced me to soak my hands in red jello throughout recess. My fingers were red for days. My mom got really pissed at the teacher, though, so that made up for it. :)
