This would be my character looking all cute, confident, and eager to help. Also quite pleased with himself, it would appear. One of my guys, Kodani, got this commissioned for me at Anthrocon from the amazingly talented
Kodani, got this commissioned for me at Anthrocon from the amazingly talented SassyPants. It features a new color scheme for my character, one which Kodani has been insisting for years would be better for my character.
SassyPants. It features a new color scheme for my character, one which Kodani has been insisting for years would be better for my character.
The conversations would go something like this:
Kodani: "But it would look better if he had socks and his head tuft of fur was lighter!"
Icefox: "Is that just something you think or is this some artist-y thing?"
Kodani: "It's an artist thing. Trust me. There's a reason why half the artists you commission keep trying to draw you with lighter fur or give you an odd second glance when you say you don't have socks after giving your description."
Icefox: "But then I look even more like a red fox turned blue!"
Kodani: "BUT YOU ALREADY PRETTY MUCH ARE."
At which point I would pout.
I suppose the conversion is complete. I might as well just say blue fox at this point, instead of blue arctic fox. *snerk*
Interestingly enough, I've been wanting to do things to make my character look less plain for YEARS. I just haven't known what to do. I've mulled over ideas, but never really came up with something I liked exactly. This, however. This. This I like. It is very likely to become my new color scheme, though I might tweak the head tuft a bit. The "socks" though, especially the way they fade. Wow.
This was money well spent, thanks Kodani and
