Aha! So I have been busy!
Hand paws are done! Face is mostly done (just need to touch up some things around the eyes and mouth)! Tail is halfway done being sewn together! The rest of the head and neck just need to get started on, just need someone with my head size to model for me so I can get a pattern for the back of the head and it actually fit right P: Mannequin heads are too small, even the larger male foam head I've been using is just a tad small, urgh.
Be back later with another update~ (hopefully it'll all be done, save for the wig)

Just some cheapo foam sheet! They're sold at basically any craft store or craft section of most places, and are usually less than a dollar! It's really soft, flexible foam in all kinds of colors. If you want to know how to give it the depth/follow-me effect, look up tutorials on youtube for follow-me eyes C: Even though the effect in the eyes I made is limited, the tutorials are great!
Oh yeah, you got the right kind! And I used this plastic sheet with a bunch of small holes in it I found at Hobby Lobby, I think it's supposed to be used for knitting or sewing, as opposed to what a lot of people tend to use for eyes which is something called buckram. I just sort of got it to improvise, but it ended up working really well! If you feel like doing what I did, just look in a sewing or knitting section for a white plastic sheet with small circle holes, not the big square holes meant for yarn. Both options are about a dollar P: Just be careful though if you get the plastic one I used-- try really hard not to get it in direct contact with the tip of a hot glue gun! My first attempt at the eyes had dumb melted holes in them, aha Cx
