being very slow on earth they usually use their huge and colorful jaw to intimidate potential predators and attract mates. why the inner of their mouth is glowing is still a mystery and since the creature itself is quite rare the scientists dont know so much about them. rare are these who managed to approach them enough to catch one. the males are usually more colorful than the female and gain their color faster than them too. the pups are born completely black and gray and become more colorful as they age. the most colorful one normally get a partner faster than the one that arent as much colorful.


trying to force myself to draw UnU I've seen a documentary about fishes the other day and it gave me some ideas so hop here it is~ I'm noooot really sure if I'll keep these colors tho...maybe I will, maybe I wooont. one thing is sure: I want a baby of these!
