One of the many highlights of this years Fursuit Dance Competition at Anthrocon was watching judges
jdpuppy and
atsufawx perform an awesome dance together before they awarded the prizes!

One comment about the Dance Competition: One thing I noticed about a LOT of fursuit dancing competitions is that many judges use dancing terms that were "over my head" and probably most of the audience members. (aka "talking rocket science").
Either simplify the terminology or maybe have a fursuiter perform a short demonstration of what these terms means. I think it would help a lot of people.
Otherwise it was an awesome contest!

Yup - at one point I tried to explain some of the terms, but it was late in the competition. The other challenge is that there's so much out there in the world of dance that we seek to make it relevant for the individuals who are out there themselves while at the same time pleasing the audience.
And honestly, some of the terms thrown by some of the fellow judges who are more technically savvy than I am even said things that can go over my head too ;)
