I tried to paint because I haven't done any "digital painting" in like, years? - that is just slapping colors down instead of drawing out lineart first. I wish I got more commissions to do pieces with backgrounds so I had motivation to finish things like this.
Orrr I wish I just did this kind of concept color stuff more in general? It's really hard for me to find motivation to even attempt digital painting. Idk why. But I had this period of time a couple years ago where I started dabbling in it and and I really liked the things I popped out during that short time when I was into it.
It's supposed to be WoW fanart - my shaman Kaidrah in ghost wolf form. I feel the pose is too static for me to want to refine this any further, but I do really like the color palette.

Yeah, I quit likeee.. 2 or 3 years ago? I miss the hell out of it sometimes; it was so fun but way too time-consuming. And no I actually didn't have the glyph, I just wanted to take artistic liberty, haha. :P But yes any time I got to be an animal in that game was sweet. Hence my love for taurens and druids. <3
right before i quit i made my 7 year old orc shaman whom ive never changed other than server transfers into a pandaren shaman lol. i liked tauren but not as much as orc or pandaren, switched to pandaren cause floofy :3. if worgen had shaman i woulda so betrayed the horde and gone worgen D: but yes it was way too time consuming x.x for a little while i had the glyph when it just made ghost wolf white instead of tan, i wasnt too fond of when they changed it to spirit wolf, other than it being huge. i used to love fooling around in ghost wolf form all the time lol.
I think that glyph must have been after my time because I don't recall seeing a big ghost wolf form. I quit right before Cataclysm so I never got to play around with worgens, even. Goblins ew.. idk why Alliance had to get the cool race.. who seem more fitting for the Horde imo. I guess Alli needed to get an actual animal-like race at some point. :P All my friends quit so that's what really made me lose interest.. no fun when you don't have friends to dick around with.
