Like most things, the first changes were innocuous, happening slowly over the following weeks with the subtly of the sun moving across the sky. It was only after it had happened that it could be appreciated. Alexis found that she had gained a considerable amount of weight recently, her appetite having spiked since her last major outing and her frame ballooning out accordingly as a result. But there was something more to it than that. Scales showed up where they did not exist before, her nails darkened until they stood out from her flesh. Something definitely was going on here.

It's been a long time since I have drawn anything with Alexis, and even longer if you do not count the Halloween picture I did last year. To an extent I feel that this character has been both neglected on my part and has not really attracted the attention of many of my viewers. And it's reasonable, I really have not explained much of her story, and when I did draw her they were largely just thematic pictures.
So, I thought about doing some sequences involving other characters of mine, both frequently drawn and not, but I feel that this might be an interesting experiment for myself and for you all watching if I focused on her for a bit.
Ideally I would have done this with more of a comic format, or drawings with more set pieces to them than as they stand right now. And perhaps one day I will do that, just to recreate this in a more professional fashion, but in the meantime, this will have to do.
I know each piece is a bit messy, as I did each image entirely within Photoshop instead of my normal process of sketching/inking in Manga Studio then coloring in PS, but I think as a whole it should pay off.
