U.R.P.N. (United Republic of Polar Nations) Is meant to be roughly analogous to soviet russia

Caelestis is similer to cold war cuba

Estund would be this worlds England

Osture would be a french nation

Salaz is an oil rich arabic nation

Kenyatta is an african nation (it's teritory extends into the maze as well)

Nakaken Is this worlds Japan

Xialoun would be this worlds China

finally The Maze is a massive archepelego of poorly charted islands. Most of this territory is poorly maped and there are several small townships, pirate havens and smugglers dens hidden threw out this range
