A mrish observer who's turned off his holographic disguise. To me it looks like he's saying "I'm going to untie my tail, take off these shorts and bend you over" but maybe that's just me. Mrish are horny sorts, though.

Well, mrish ARE carnivores*. Still, the only way you could get swallowed whole by one is if you were no larger than a big rat. I don't think any of them have gone in for the sort of body mods Strega has. There are a trillion of them out there, though. I could be wrong. 83
* Actually omnivores these days, in much the same way that domestic cats and dogs are ominvores these days -- they know how to prepare some sorts pof vegetable matter so they can eat it.

XD You are too good at creating your own sci-fi/fantasy world, Strega. It seems like it's a crime there's not a Star Trek-esque series of books about it.
In any case, the artwork here is good again. I really like the effect you use for fur, the combination of light and dark works really well with it. Somehow you're very good at all kinds of clothing, too; lately I've gotten to see how well you portray solid armor and here you can show off your talent with soft cloth a bit, too. The ruffles and highlights are very effective in giving it a naturalistic feel.
The whole observer concept is a neat idea, and I'm glad you added so much detail about it here. Although I'd have to assuming the harness and straps can't be that comfortable, it's a very good way to address how a plantigrade species could pass itself off as a digitigrade one. I'm also very glad you include notes about things like the earrings; it's neat to get a glimpse of what their culture is like.
And one last thing that I find myself staring at every time I look at this: are the eyes green iris with white pupils, shaped kind of like a cat's? If so, that is a very cool concept, but I'd have to think they'd perceive light quite a bit differently.
Anyways, I'm really glad you've been doing images like this lately; it's great to see how creative you can be with your universe design. It honestly does seem like something from a very detailed novel. I hope you keep developing new ideas in the future. Good luck!

The pupils are black, but I like to put a shiny on black pupils. Sometimes they end up being a bit big and make the pupil look a bit white. My bad on that one.
I'm actually pretty bad at cloth. I have a good book on drawing it, but I can't seem to master folds and wrinkles. It's hard to find a good model on the fly.
The many recent sci-fi drawings were drawn and inked in class, which is why they are all G rated. Mrish are an old sci-fi race of mine that go back to before me finding the furry community. I have several old, never posted stories with mrish characters. Maybe I will post one one of these days. 83

Bah, you're your own worse critic. ;-P if you do want to practice more with cloth-like stuff it's always great to see you draw more stuff, but I do think you're pretty darn good at it now.
And yeah, if you ever wanted to upload the stories you wrote that would be great! I've read the ones you uploaded on Eka's Portal, and while it seems like most of those were more focused on your more D&Dish fantasy work (the character sheets you posted were very neat, by the way, they were very professionally done and I could definitely see the races showing up in a supplement) but they still showed that you were very good at detail and description. Plus some of the ideas you used were very cool, like the plot of "The Run" stories (an idea so good that it's been used commercially, like in Steve Austin's "The Condemned." Of course, your stories were actually good, so there's a big difference).
And good luck with your classes! At least you're getting something done in them, instead of just sitting there bored.
