"Hear his music and know his name,
For he is the key to glory and fame."
More of Yolfgar, the God of Metal.
Part 2 of his bio:
After the great "bang", All the carbon unleashed by the blast started forming the stars, planets, ETC. Yoriel should have been happy. But he wasn't. His demonic companion was dying. It turned out that such an intimut contact between an angel and a demon is deadly for the weaker of the two (you know, how heavenly artifacts hurt demons and vice versa). The Demoness was a simple lowclass demon scout and Yoriel was an arch-angel. Their "contact" literaly killed her. She was dying in his arms with him, to destrought and unfocused to use his power to help her. In his final seconds she told him her real name (which he never asked for from the beggining, then again neather did she his) Garfeelha. With her final breath, she told him that she loved the time they spent with eachother, the things they descovered and perfected. Then, in a last attempt, she unleashed her power and gave it to Yoriel, literaly fusing her very being with him. And through that union a new being was born from the two of them.
The new being, Yolfgar, was the combination of their power and knoledge but he did have most of their memories. He was an all new being all togeather. A child sucled by the ragging energys of an infant universe. As the univers gre, so did Yolfgar. Speech, movement, walking, thinking and other basics were gradualy unlocked in the first millenium post bang, like long lost memories suddenly surfacing (he is made of two being who could already do all that stuff). Then came the knowledge. The vast knowledge of existance it self. The Music. The Power. The Speed. It was almost too awesome for his still developing mind. He nearly lost his grip on sanity, bombarded by the knowledge of metal. But his mind survived the onslaught. Another proof of his worth. When Yolfgar finaly grew to maturety, the knowledge was now fully at his disposle. His personality however, much like his power, was a combination of Yoriel's and Garfeelha's. He had his "fathers" sense of honor and good will, while he also had his "mother's" sense of mischife and chaotic nature. But that wasn't all. The murging of a demon and an angel created something new and unexpected. Another proof that in the long run, angels and demons cannot exist without eachother. The murger created a God.
Yolfgar, in a serge of creativity and passion, sprung forth through the new universe and started reshaping and molding it's still developing substance. Through his music and power, he reshaped the univers into something practicaly impossible. The univers, which he named Irongard, consisted of a single sun and everithing else were planets, asteroids, comets, and black holes. Of course, to have the sun's gravitational field effect his whole domane, he made it unimaginably big. Bigger the billions of glactical super-clusters. That was, every astroomical object and anomaly, were orbiting a single star from almost 360 degrees around it. Imagin it, the planets and other celestial bodies forming an ovoid shape around the sun. With all these planets (and we're talkin' krshillion of them) Yolfgar got to work, using his knowledge to do what his predecesors never could, try it all out in practice. The planest became his playgrounds. He made sure that ever planet was inhabitable (even the ones closer to and further away the sun. He experimented with all forms of life. He finaly settled on a human-like being he made from his own hair, that reminded him of himself a lot (he has a bit of an ego ^ ^). He seeded every planet in the central rim of his universal solar system with humans, while other planets were ment for other forms of life.
While on his life spreading tour of the universe, he forged a trident-shaped guitar in the core of one of the larger planets. That became his toll of creation and destruction. He named it Fyretrident. As he worked he noticed that everyplanet became a representation of a subgenre of Metal (which meanes that we have only begon to scratch the surface of the possibilities of metal). All these planets functioned on the principles of bothe magic and science. One a single plant one would see structures ranging from medivle castels, massive art-deco buildings and futuristic structures. Just imagine the greates Metal album covers times a trillion. Yolfgar couldn't be prouder of himself and his creation. His universe was the very deffinition of awesome. And yet he never "got any". He just can't be himself around women. He gets tongue tied and basicalyscrews it up. But that's not the only problem with his trouble with women. He is the only diety in the universe and he's not an asshole like the greek gods. He promissed he'd never try anything with a mortal girl, then again even if he did the first problem would again surface it's ugly head.
Epilogue.
Twilight of a God
It was never known, why Yolfgar left his noise metal paradice and entered our world. The people of his universe were happy, much like the vikings in Valhalha. All the planets (even the non human ones) were connected by massively long highway bridges upon which colossal fiery hotrods thundered faster then light itself. The energy that fueled his univers pulsed togeather with the beating of the hearts of it's inhabitants, the true men and women of metal. So why did he leave them. That is it's not like his presence was all that needed after all, the mortals have long passed the time where they would ask him for his blessing, or wisdome, or just to joy a party with them. They were in good hands, their own hands.
Perhaps it was just that, Yolfgar felt that he had done all he could in this univers and time to move on to the next.
Perhaps he got bored of his creation and left to find new and amazing things, like a child outgrowing it's toys.
Perhaps he was spered on by the memories of his two predecessors. Maybe the memories showed him the world they came from and got him interested to take a peek.
What ever the reason, one things for sure: Where ever Yolfgar may dwelve he will make it his sollom duty to make things as awesome as imaginably (and unimaginably) possible, where ever he is.
So yeah, that's old Yolfy for ya ^ ^ Of course I've taken a LOT of inspiration for his creation let me tells ya ^ ^ He was partialy inspired by Brutal Legend, also by Loki, the Heavy Metal comics, the awesome album cover art and ofcourse the music itself. He does almost everything with a smile on his face. It's like he's in a rush, the cosmic energies he manipulates constantly fueling him. He doesn't need sleep. One of his greatest and most powerfull fighting moves is the magmachord, a guitar solo that summons massive swords of molten solid lave (wrap your mind around that) to fall, blad down, from the sky itself. The swords them selves are as big as the empire state building, some even larger. They land with the force of a small nuke. And considering that there's a lot of them falling..... SCREEN SWEEPER.
Oh and he has a gleaming fiery V8 engin for a heart (Hearts of steel song by Manowar), his vains are filled with mollton iron and his bones are made of steel.
In fact a lot of the inspiration for him came from Manowar songs.
So yeah, comment and enjoy plz ^ ^
