INDEED! Pittsburgh big enough to obtain a subway system! The vehicle is usually a light rail mover. Notice that theres no rocks on the tracks? and like in both Paris and Boston the train makes these gastly noise while making curves. Its pretty cool! If anyone has more advance knowledge about these sorts of tracks.....speak up

I have come to love Pittsburgh since our Con moved there in 06. This year my trip was from July 4 till yesterday the 14th; all Pittsburgh area except 2 days in Ohio. As I've said on Anthrocon forums, the subway is often free (Station Sq etc will cost $2.50 but in downtown stations it can be free) and buses are free downtown till 7 pm I think. Modern, fast, clean etc, they do a good job. North of the Allegheny River there are the Northside (PNC Park) and Allegheny (Sci Museum, Heinz Field, Casino) stations. Those nr the Omni, Doubletree, and the new Marriot can find Steel Plaza is right there (if anything while it's a short distance you can go to Wood St--near the Con--or other areas, from there)
