A serious contender for "Most Pathetic Copycat Game Console Ever", I nominate the "Extreme Box", spotted today while tooling down one of the Bronx's main shopping strips (Fordham Road).
I'll bet owners of real X-boxes wish their console was this size :D . I hadn't planned on posting any photographs in my FA gallery, but this was just too funny to pass up.
Oh, and if you were curious about them, the graphics were about NES quality :)

I really doubt anyone (grandmothers included) buys these thinking they're remotely close to modern consoles. I like the idea of recycled hardware, and the copyright knockoffs are worth a laugh, but god DAMN do they overcharge for this crap. The guy who runs the NES clone kiosk at my local mall asks $60 for a piece of 22-year-old technology that cost less than $2 to make and involved roughly zero R&D.
