So I took some time to do up a piece and yeah, I'm super happy with how the coloring came out. The background though, killed my soul. Took so long.

Thanks! Yeah I try to do things in a manner as if they were going to go to print, so in a lot of the images that get posted, small details get lost due to the compression and such, cept for the people who got the commissions, since they get a huge version of the file. This one is a bit larger then I normally post so little details pop out more.

Well I'm sure your excited about the desolation of smaug movie that is coming out. Another great version with the exact same piece as yours. Well except their is no damsel in distress, and their are only magical creatures, like hobbits, wizards, and dwarves. Also its not a cartoon its real. Hey I am captain obvious by the way. Its going to blast experience this movie. Maybe you should make a piece of the movie that's coming out, that's my suggestion.

Pfft, I wish, but thank you ^.^ It was actually a little bit of a pain, because his model changes a bit, even in the game animation, like the spike rows on his back, are sometimes fin looking things and from the animation to the comic, he lost 2 chin tentacle things, so at first, I was trying to stay true to the design, but after it took me forever to sketch him, I said, fack it, and did him more my way lol
Heh, was thinking of Planet Sketch with the comment since the draggie reminded me of him...
