as my first picture on FA, i want to upload something i did as a birthday gift for a good friend. it's always so hard to draw real people O_O
the candles are a small detail i've never seen before, but i found one picture online with that and i thought it's kind of a nice touch.

Very nice, with the lighting. I've been hoping to re-create that epic shining effect for a portrait of one of my own characters.
...I was never a very big fan of the Space Marines. I always preferred the Eldar and the Tau. Still; you did this for a real person, and anyone living in this day and age is almost certainly smarter than the run-of-the-mill space marine.
