His fursona is more of a monster hybrid IMO, not really being based off any animals but rather being influenced from them: Raptor/shark/husky/praying mantis and reptiles.
most of the markings were made to be able to match up in a way with my fursona (link below as example of their facial markings) which is:
part fennec, chinchilla, red panda, bat, ferret/furret, rabbit/hare and winged beast.
along with just playing around with my sona having warmer colors and his being cooler colors so when paired together it looks nice, originally his sona was going to be red but we felt that it would have been way too much especially when in artwork together and should a suit ever get made in the future that we'd suit together. c:
