Darjeets from their book starts off with much knowledge, but little in the way of actual skills. In time, they start learning how to survive out in the wild. One of the things they learned is how to Fished without having to hunt them directly in the water, although they mostly still go into the oceans to hunt for schools and larger fish.

This scene also shows how they can walk on their hind legs for a small amount of time, when they are carrying objects and tools. The technique is hard of their legs, because they aren't built like Humans and Two Legs, so they only travel short distances before returning to all fours.
