Eid Muzafr - At Arm's Length
~~~
Nope, not even as a hatchling and held at arm's length, Muzafr is still capable of causing pain.
And being cute and fancy at the same time, haha!
Anyway, a cute little 'comic' I've been mulling over for a while. This shows a part of Muzafr's hatchling-hood, being a little devil with the Mullah. She's so freaking proud of herself, look at that grin. And then she grows up and that same grin usually means somebody died, or is going to die, hehe.
And yes, Muzafr was still as sharp and had the chin when she was smallish! Though note that the spines are all generally shorter and slightly duller, particularly her belly scales, though they're all still there. They just grow with her.
Remember - she wasn't born with the tattoos under her eyes - they were tattooed onto her by her adopted family, (the Jund an-Nas.)
Photo of the Judean Foothills just outside of Jerusalem taken by yours truly.
Muzafr is my sona~
Enjoy!
Ramadan Kareem to you as well Alhamdulillah, been very well, reading up on Aqeedah and the Madhabs (primarily Hanbaliyyah). And Cool Granted I thought "Army" was "Jaysh" and "Jund" was "Soldier" like Jundallah is "Soldier of Allah." Forgive me, like I said, my Arabic is virtually non-existent. But how have you been? Insh'allah, reaping the blessings and rewards of this magnificent Ramadan.
Nice! Drat, now my mind is in a knot. XD. I was thinking 'jundee' was soldier - I'll have to review some stuff, haha.
All has been well on my end, alhamdulillah. Ramadan has been treating me well-ish so far, haha. Already have some days to make up due to farm work, (if I had fasted...it would have been bad, wallah,) but it's all good. How've you been so far?
Alhamdulillah rabbiyyal alameen, been great. Been reading more Quran and trying to give Dawah to a female coworker of mine, she's open minded and wants to learn, inshallah she'll be guided. Unfortunately, I work at a McDonald's so I see food and drink ALL DAY, but alhamdulillah, I haven't missed a suhoor yet, inshallah I won't, it happened a few times a few years back and I actually was pleading Allah to to either let me pass out to go to the hospital and be able to drink or just die to end the pain I was suffering, it wasn't my stomach or throat that was hurting, it was my head and my veins because it felt like I had all the liquid drawn from my body because it was over 24 hours without liquid intake that caused such pain. But, off topic, inshallah, hope Ramadan is going well for you. And yeah, I know about living on a farm and fasting, I had 3 horses, 1 dog, 32-34 chickens, and a few bunnies, I know how it feels fasting and working on a farm What have you been up to during this blessed month?
Wallah, I worked in a restaurant too while I was fasting a couple years ago! Sooo painful, haha. And then I'd go to the grocery store with my family before Iftar and I must have had the crazy eye because it was...intense. XD. Last year in Acre, I actually fasted a couple days while excavating, and I was totally fine. But methinks I was just so high off the Holy Land that I gained superhuman powers for a while. This year, so far at least, I'm already way behind on sleep and feel tired all the time, so I've just been playing it safe. (The headaches are the worst, wallah...)
Aww!! Bamboo is fun to grow! I used to have a teeny bonsai tree that was given to me by Triabane but it didn't last too long due to my brothers' two cats :(
Succulents are also cute!! Teeny, tiny, and they come in many different varieties! On top of that, they're so easy to care for.
Thanks! Ah yeah, that makes sense as they'd grow and dull over time! Muzafr's spines and claws here start out small and dullish and grow pretty much like normal mammal horns. Of course, it helps her that she has a slew of menfolk to file them make sure all her spines are as sharp as can be. XD
