Wishes can't come true on their own.
I...have no idea where this came from. At the time I got the idea in the first place, I was feeling the exact opposite of the story's theme: worried, jealous, and just plain negative. But the idea wouldn't go away, and later that day, something happened that made me prioritize writing this as a sort of thank-you gift for a friend...you know who you are. But I guess sometimes it's nice to just write something short, sweet, and...fluffy. Art therapy, almost.
Consider this not so much a prequel to Quality Time ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5368453/ and mind who's watching ) but...well, okay, I guess it is.
