My little Kodi is all grown up. Getting married and soon to have kids. ;u ; Makes me so happy as a parent.

I just love everything about this piece! I don't even know where to begin... I mean, color, obviously brilliantly balanced around the blue...all those cool tones, subtly drawing your eyes to the warmer pinks and magentas and then Bam! the oranges and yellows both complete the depth you create and draw the eye to the lovely focal points ^^ and the rhythm you set up with the linear, more structured patterns and the curvy rounded shapes...in fact so much of your stuff seems to center on this dialog between sharp angles and graceful curves...there are the serene, soft elegant arcs that then break hard and shift in direction. It just gives it so much life! and her feathers! I love how weighty they are, how solid. They drape over each other with such...i don't know presence? just like omg! I know i'm coming off like some crazy fan boy but you're just such a masterful designer... Just so damn inspiring!

Ahh~ You're always too kind! I never know how to reply to your great compliments except with a blatant thank you! I'm really glad you appreciate the amount of thought that goes into my designs. I'm still trying to work even more thought into it! <3 You're the best fanboy.

Would it be too much to ask you how you work? I'm desperately tring to get faster and better at vector art and I'd love to get some tips and technique from a real master :) more than anything it's your line work, it's precise but alive and I love the little details like the joint in her elbow where you indicate a little shadow and the line that describe her neck and colar bone is awesome! Another baffling thing is the line that runs down her hip in the shorts, it hits these two little wrinkles and it just ends perfectly, the only way I'd know how to do that would be to expand the stroke and then cut it down by hand. Oh jeez some shove a sock in my mouth I'm bleating out of control again!

If you wish to keep your secrets I can respect that, I just love pouring over ever little detail of your work :D

See I love adobe illustrator but it doesn't give me the freedom in editing that rastor art programs do, so I use the pen tool in photoshop. I don't use a stroke function, I treat each line as a shape which takes longer, but gives me exactly what I want! As for making decisions on what goes where, I think that's just on artistic style more then anything else. <3

Wow! That's impressive! That's why everything is so intentional... I was looking at the little bow holding her top and it's just so obviously hand made, but everything is that way! You don't use any fancy strokes or shortcuts, that's pretty awesome. I dint think i have the chops to handle a technique like that, lol, it reminds me of a quote by Miyazaki “Do everything by hand, even when using the computer.”

I'm even more in awe of your skills now, didn't think that was possible :O

Plus the level of your progress is incredibly tangible. Your shading and value use is better then mine could ever be and your use of texture is pretty amazing. :P

you're sweet to say, but I have a long way to go before my design and inking work is anywhere close to yours and as far as the less technical aspect you just are way cooler and more stylish than me ^^ I mean...every time I look at this piece I find something new, I mean with two tiny lines one above the eyelid and one at just under the eye, you take a sweet smile and turn it into a sneer...I mean that's not technique, that's, i don't know acting, experience, memory? Either way you must be a professional animator, lol, because your subtile ability to capture emotions with simple, economic... ok sorry I can't seem to stop gushing over your work...I remain, as always, your devoted fanboy!...did i mention the tummy! how could i not mention the...ok ok...I'm done :)
